Giving:

Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about how Spirit is for giving and the flesh is for getting. 1. Spiritual identity is awareness of the Perfect Divine creation; found within and it is crucial to find a way to let it out.
2. The dictionary says about forgive as follows. 1)to grant pardon for or remission of (an offense, debt, etc.); absolve. 2)to give up all claim on account of; remit (a debt, obligation, etc.). 3) to grant pardon to (a person). 4) to cease to feel resentment against: 5) to forgive one’s enemies. 6)to cancel an indebtedness or liability of: 7) to forgive the interest owed on a loan.
3. The human concept is based on duality there must be two; in Spiritual Truth there is only One. Spiritual identity is the acceptance of only One. With the elimination of the two, the second, as Jesus says to the woman accused of adultery, where are your accuser’s? In Oneness there is no offender and no forgiver only the One Perfect Divine Life maintaining a Perfect Universe. To support this statement we have

   Remember that phrase, “It cannot happen, it is impossible.” Only the qualities of Spirit can happen.” Spirit is the One Perfect Divine Life.
   “But if you think there is a second will possible, then you’re not in the Consciousness of the one will, you’re not in the Consciousness of being Spirit, and you are not living in the Kingdom of heaven on earth.”
4. Spiritual Forgiving is a very different thing from the human concept and we see how Herb Fitch explains is in LJ 4B “The world mind, of course, broadcasts its concept of One Being, breaking it all up into billions of ideas that come out in the appearance world as forms all separated.”
5. Why Spirit is for giving. Joel Goldsmith Parenthesis in Eternity, he writes, “It remains for us to open out a way for this Infinity to escape and find expression. But how do we open the way for infinite wisdom, eternal life, and divine love to flow out from us? First of all, we must begin to acknowledge that Infinity is, and if we acknowledge that It already is, and is within us, we should give up all attempts to get or achieve anything from outside ourselves. Instead, we should center our attention on letting It escape from within our own being. Then, every time that we close our eyes, even if it is only for fifteen seconds, it is to acknowledge: The kingdom of God is within me. Lord, let It flow forth into expression.”
6. Keeping our attention on the Divine idea, the Divine creation until it dawns on us. Spiritual light illuminates thought and reveals the Divine creation in its Perfection and Glory.
