Notes:

1. The Olympics understood as an outer appearance for an inner desire to be first in the game of life. Start with the Divine Principle, Life is Perfect, it can’t be anything less. How is this possible? By knowing what we think is life, this mental-material concept– isn’t Life. It’s great to see the world come together and it would be more beneficial if it was for more than just proving which country is best at something. How about opening it up more as a joint venture to see who is reflecting the Divine image and we could all learn from that. As Mrs. Eddy wrote in S&H 114:27-30, “The universe, like man, is to be interpreted by Science from its divine Principle, God, and then it can be understood; but when explained on the basis of physical sense and represented as subject to growth, maturity, and decay, the universe, like man, is, and must continue to be, an enigma.”
2. Life without Principle is what is called chaos in mythology. It is a ship without a rutter, a hero without a cause but what we call normal in today’s terminology. What it looks like when we are unconscious of the Divine Principle and under the jurisdiction of karmic law which is simply the belief in two powers– a hypnotic state or illusion of mental-material energy we now call nothing.
3. Why don’t we see God? God or the Divine Principle is Whole and the mortal mind works on contrast. In Divine Unity there isn’t any contrast or opposition. Spirit is One without separation– everywhere always and the mortal mind can’t comprehend the Absolute. What the mortal mind perceives is its own creation, separate from the Spiritual fact of the Divine Creation and the mind can’t free itself from its own creation and we keep it going with belief in the testimony of the material senses.
4. How to go for the Gold on the podium of Life? As Jesus says, “Know the Truth that makes you free.” The Truth being there is only One Life and It is Perfect everywhere always and you are either conscious of the fact or you are out of the Father’s House, a branch cut off of the vine, withering.
5. How does conscious awareness of One Life change the mental-material picture. Consciousness is experience! To begin on this endeavor it is crucial to know thinking about isn’t the same as conscious of. Thinking is what is done with the mortal mind which is a splitter, it takes the pure consciousness of Spirit and separates it into opposite energies– making thinking and thought the enemy. Step one is separation from the false sense of self.
