Title: The Ninth Commandment for Understanding
“Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”
Number 9 is a radio talk show discussing the Spiritual meaning of the 9th Commandment.
Number 9:
Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about the Ninth Commandment, “thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor” and just exactly what this means in human development. All human judgement prevents Spiritual understanding. Listen as they explain how the Ninth Commandment may be the Kriya Yoga equivalent of Pratyahara or sense withdrawal. In this show they will discuss the value found in Spiritual Truth and the effect It has on sense level living. Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the light in your soul and judge righteously.
Notes:
- To judge righteously means to perceive with Spiritual Sense and not material sense. To catch the real message of this commandment we must understand the statement “love your neighbor as yourself” which means as your Self and not your neighbor.
- Henry David Thoreau said, “humility like darkness reveals the heavenly lights.” Spiritual identity dissolves personal sense in the same way light dispels darkness.
- It may be a real stretch to say to someone that if you see fault in another you are in violation of Spiritual law but that is because we don’t understand Spirit. For this to prove out scientifically it must stand to reason that if Spirit is all and all is Perfect and Good nothing else is possible.
- “To do the Will of the Father, you must be Divine. And so you must accept your Divinity. For the Will of the Father is only done in Divinity. You can never cling to a human sense of self and do the Will of the Father. You will be doing your concept of what you think is the Will of the Father. You’ll be running to your neighbor to do a good deed, because you think that’s the Father’s Will, but you won’t recognize the Christ of your neighbor, and that is the Father’s Will.” Revelation of St. John 3-2 by Herb Fitch
- What is meant by “recognize the Christ of your neighbor?” To see the Divine Idea of what is appearing before you. To see the Perfection of Being, the beauty of Holiness.
- Like attracts like; we can’t be clinging to humanity and be in Spiritual identity. We must put off the old man; to accept Divine Presence which means give up mortality– needs, wants, and purpose. Life is Spiritual and has no limitations or personal sense.
- From the Bible
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalms 91:1 KJV; then verse 10
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Psalms 91:10 KJV - “That Existence is Divine, not mortal. It is an immortal Self. The human image that you have entertained about yourself, is your mental imitation about the Divine Image that you are.”
