Notes:

1. The entire philosophy of Buddhism is founded on suffering, what causes it and how to eliminate it. The origins of all suffering boils down to desire, personal desire. There are only two ways suffering seems to occur, exposure to what is not desired or removal of what is desired. In Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy writes, 1:10-13 “Desire is prayer; and no loss can occur from trusting God with our desires, that they may be moulded and exalted before they take form in words and in deeds.”
2. Initiation may be a solution to suffering, it that one outgrows a personal sense of self and accepts the Truth of Being which is void of anything dualistic.
3. In Realization of Oneness class 25 A Herb Fitch says, “Identifying Truth then, is the way you open the portals to the Christ mind. Wherever you look, take a moment, no matter what it is, do not be afraid to face it with Truth. Is it God created? Is it God substance? Is it permanent?” What are the portals to the Christ Mind? In Revelation they are called Churches and in Kriya Yoga called Chakras. It is anywhere Divine Truth is recognized in human consciousness– just like light dispels darkness, Truth dispels error. Initiation is a growth process on all levels physical and mental– experienced as an unfolding in degrees as the realization of the Divine Creation.
4. Chemicalization in Christian Science. S&H 168:32 to 169:1-2, “By chemicalization I mean the process which mortal mind and body undergo in the change of belief from a material to a spiritual basis.”
5. The basis of suffering is a personal sense of self and by initiating Apotheosis (the process of the revealing Divinity) as identity shifts from a mental-material basis to a Spiritual basis the mortal concept disappears and with it goes the belief in two powers. The entire human experience is driven by the belief in two powers which is a hypnotic state. In initiation belief graduates to faith and faith into understanding which are some of the benefits of transformation and the expansion of consciousness beyond the limits of duality.
6. To help us with the “how to” to develop the faculty which perceives the Divine Truth we have something from Herb Fitch RO 25A. “This, not created by my Father is a world mind idea. I only suffer from it as I rest in that human mind which cannot see the fine print. I have a wrong number but I don’t know it. As I find the fine print because the Christ mind can and does, I have the right number and the right number shows me that right where the world sees disease, there is perfect, Spiritual flesh.”
   Wherever the world mind presents a picture unlike God, the Christ mind finds the total opposite is completely true and no second. In your Christ mind, you know the cripple, the blind man, the deaf man, all those who suffer from famine and poverty are world mind shadows seemingly real only to the mind that perceives that; the mind that is still the natural mind which is not capable of receiving the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter.
   Identifying Truth then, is the way you open the portals to the Christ mind. Wherever you look, take a moment, no matter what it is, do not be afraid to face it with Truth. Is it God created? Is it God substance? Is it permanent?
   Whatever does not answer that, is not Truth and is not present. And then having identified untruth properly, the question is how are you going to face untruth? How are you going to meet it? What are you going to do about it?
   And this is where only the Christ mind can take you through the next threshold.
   The Allness of God is the Law, the Reality, the Truth of Being. That which is untrue is not changing God. That which is untrue exists only in the mind that perceives it. It has no real existence. The Truth is still there where the unreal seems to be. And therefore, what you are going to do about it, in the Christ mind, is absolutely nothing. That’s what you do about it – absolutely nothing.”
7. Because we can’t put an Infinite Mind in a finite form we must learn to resolve a physical body into a mental image capable of receiving Divine inspiration.
