Perfect Principle:

Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about the upcoming year of 2023 as a great time for a new beginning with the belief in the Divine Creation as the Truth of all being. Listen as they explore the biblical statement from Mathew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.  In this show they will discuss the Sanskrit term Purna translated as Perfect and meaning whole and complete. Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the Light in your soul and be Perfect as your Father.

Notes:

  1. What is the Principle of Perfection? The Divine Principle is the Law of One Power; One Perfect Being looking at Itself, as Itself, of Itself, and to Itself — One without opposite or division. This is what is meant by Whole and the origins of the word heal means to be Whole.
  2. Spirit is Perfect the mind/body complex is a divided consciousness which is driven on a belief in two powers. Spirit is the only self-existent power in the universe making it the only power in the universe and when it is understood It is the only Principle.
  3. Practice makes Perfect only when practice is Perfect and to experience the Perfection of Being one needs a Perfect practice. In the Spiritual Science of Kriya Yoga we understand the relativity of everything and as Ben Franklin said, “for the want of a nail a shoe was lost, for the want of a shoe a horse was lost, for the want of a horse a rider was lost, for the want of a rider a platoon was lost, for the want of a platoon a battle was lost, for the want of a battle a war is lost. Paying attention to the details and working scientifically which means we must have an outcome and a rule and practice what is tried and true.
  4. Spiritual practice is not like anything we do mentally or materially with personal will and personal sense.
  5. The idea of Divine Principle must be understood and it is very easy to think you know Truth but don’t. “But thought, loosened from a material basis but not yet instructed by Science, may become wild with freedom and so be self-contradictory.” (S&H Mary Baker Eddy, p. 552:19)
  6. The Isha Upanishad: says,
    Isha
    That is perfect: this is perfect
    Out of that perfection emanates this perfection
    In the ocean of perfection surge the waves of perfection;
    Yet perfection is never lost. Filled with Brahman are the things we see,
    Filled with Brahman are the things we see not,
    From out of Brahman floweth all that is:
    From Brahman all– yet is he still the same.
    OM… Peace – peace – peace.
