Mountain Sermon
Title: Sermon on the Mount Beatitudes Unboxed
“Heal the sick.’ It is the healer’s understanding of the operation of the divine Principle, and his application thereof, which heals the sick, just as it is one’s understanding of the principle of mathematics which enables him to demonstrate its rules.” Mary Baker Eddy
Mountain Sermon is a radio talk show with the title Sermon on the Mount Beatitudes Unboxed.
Mountain Sermon:
Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about the message of the Christ which came through Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew 5:3-12. In this show they will play a soundbite from Herb Fitch Thunder of Silence class 10A to illuminate the deeper meaning of these spoken words. Listen as they explain why in Revelation, John suggests read, hear and keep when it comes to Spiritual matters and why Herb tells us, “reading the menu in a restaurant will leave you hungry, if that’s as far as you go.” Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the Light in your soul and live out from a higher consciousness.
Notes:
- Herb Fitch does such a good job of explaining the esoteric meaning of the message by the Christ. We want to cultivate understanding of the information instead of merely believing, thinking or talking about them. Mountain Sermon from the bible.
The eight Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3–12 during the Sermon on the Mount.[7][8]
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 5:3)
Blessed are those who mourn: for they will be comforted. (5:4)
Blessed are the meek: for they will inherit the earth. (5:5)
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness: for they will be filled. (5:6)
Blessed are the merciful: for they will be shown mercy. (5:7)
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they will see God. (5:8)
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they will be called children of God. (5:9)
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (5:10) - Let’s play the soundbite to get started Herb Fitch Thunder of Silence class 10A: 1. It erases all primitive notions about God and man. 2. What is it you lack in this world? (02:09) Make a list. 3. We appear to be poor in the form the effect but we are really only poor in the substance for which the images are formed. 4. And being rich in this One Substance we are rich in all the things we thought we lacked – If you are poor in Spirit you are poor in all things 5. At the same time he reveals Spiritual identity (04:47) 6. only one goal the realization of Spiritual Selfhood having It I have All (06:05) 7. Faced with the first problem what to do with the man of flesh. 8. Begin the third Beatitude we are meek (07:47) 9. We only move as we are moved by the Spirit within. 10. Come into Righteousness the Fourth Beatitude. Come to the realization, your only need is Spirit all that exists is Spirit
- Herb Fitch on Meekness: RO 4A “. If you have not been able to attain the fruits of meditation, it’s because you have violated the request of meekness, a certain kind of humility. It is really the humility of the acceptance that God is the only being present.”
- Read, hear and keep; we can only do this in Spiritual Identity where like attracts like by resting in the Perfection of Divine Truth. By accepting and living in the knowledge of the One Infinite Divine Spiritual Self.
