Notes: Show Transcript
- Divine Love is the essence of the Divine creative Principle; the Light of all Life. Love is the eternal state of changeless joy or bliss. It is the subjective realization of Perfect Loving by and as Perfect Love. Human love is a mortal objective concept about Divine Love; a thought about the Divine Idea.
- Divine Love is Oneness and human love is twoness. Love is Principle and Idea, the Christian concept of I and the Father are One.
- Jesus says,
John 15:9-13
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. - Mary Baker Eddy S&H 411 “If Spirit or the power of divine Love bear witness to the truth, this is the ultimatum, the scientific way, and the healing is instantaneous.”
- More from the Bible:
John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
