Notes:
- 1 Cor. 15:31, ” I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.” the suggestion to surrender the personal sense of self by accepting the One Life as the only True existence. To set the table we have a Soundbite from Herb Fitch RO class 6B
- Learning to walk before running is a safe practice. We can’t put an Infinite Mind in a finite form, so we learn to resolve the physical body into a mental image capable of receiving Divine inspiration. Rise into the 7 personal planets and 12 signs of the zodiac as the One Body of Christ.
- Learning to stop thinking with five corporeal sense and start Knowing with seven Spiritual senses. The difference between silence and Silence. One is the absence of noise in the corporeal senses and the other is the Omnipresence of Divine Mind in the corporeal senses. It can be seen as the difference between thought and Idea or mental-material duality and Spiritual Unity. Another way of saying it is the difference between thinking (with five corporeal senses) and Knowing (with seven Spiritual Senses.) What is essential to know is– Spirit does not report in the mortal mind and until the Mind of Christ is attained, when the mortal mind is aware of Spirit there is no activity. Mortal mind works on contrast or duality only and Divine Mind works in the Absolute or Wholeness only. Initially, we walk by belief and look for silence and stillness while waiting on the Lord. When mortal mind is conscious of Divine Truth– Divine Mind will acknowledge Itself and illuminate thought with Divine Idea. This is initiation and the birth of Christ in consciousness– nurture the experience in the same way one may build a fire. Key clue: like attracts like! silence and stillness invites Divine Mind into mortal awareness– then watch, wait, listen, and let– Divine Mind do Its Knowing in your awareness.
- In Yoga they are called Chakras and in Revelation they are called Churches. A Chakra is defined as an energy converter in the astral/mental body which takes the higher frequency of Spirit and reduces it to the lower vibration of matter. In a similar way white light passes through the prism and breaks off into the seven colors of the spectrum. Church symbolically is defined as Lord’s House and house in the bible refers to consciousness; making the Church in Revelation– that place where human awareness meets Divine Consciousness. To put it together there are seven major Chakras in Yoga, seven Churches in Revelation, Mrs. Eddy uses seven words for God and to cap it off– use the man, bull, lion, and eagle (which is also referred to in Revelation) to outline the Body of Christ– the seven personal planets and twelve signs of the Zodiac.
- Learning how to “think” outside the form. Mrs. Eddy talks about inversion in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures page 113:26-114:11 “The divine metaphysics of Christian Science, like the method in mathematics, proves the rule by inversion. For example: There is no pain in Truth, and no truth in pain; no nerve in Mind, and no mind in nerve; no matter in Mind, and no mind in matter; no matter in Life, and no life in matter; no matter in good, and no good in matter.
Usage classes both evil and good together as mind; therefore, to be understood, the author calls sick and sinful humanity mortal mind,— meaning by this term the flesh opposed to Spirit, the human mind and evil in contradistinction to the divine Mind, or Truth and good. The spiritually unscientific definition of mind is based on the evidence of the physical senses, which makes minds many and calls mind both human and divine.
In Science, Mind is one, including noumenon and phenomena, God and His thoughts.” - Learning to think with God, as God means learning to stop thinking with five corporeal senses and keep the mind an avenue of awareness for the operations of Divine Mind to Let the Omnipresence do Its Knowing in your awareness. We do this in Oneness– never a me and anything. Only God is. This is how we unlock the Truth I am– everywhere always, Perfect, Whole, Eternal, and Complete.
