  1. Noumena is how things are and phenomena is how things appear. From my understanding Immanuel Kant was a philosopher and formed his theory from a purely secular stance.
  2. We deal with this every day in various degrees of distortion. For example, Herb Fitch gives one in his Seven Series Class 3A, “You look at the sun in the sky, you say, “There it is” and you’re wrong, it’s not there. You’re looking at where it was; it was there eight minutes ago. You’re looking at a star in the sky, but you’re not really, you’re looking at where it was; sometimes thousands of years ago!” How they are and how they appear; we are learning to trust more in how they are which is not seen than how they appear.
  3. The Divine Idea does not appear in the corporeal senses and as long as we believe and react to the senses; we obscure the Divine image. The mortal mind and this world are the phenomena and the Divine Mind with the Kingdom of Heaven are the Noumena. As CS Lewis said, “Aim for heaven, earth gets thrown in. Aim for earth you get neither.” If we mistake the phenomena for the noumena we are in the trap; this is what the bible calls, sowing to the flesh.
  4. In Kriya Yoga physiology there are three bodies; physical, mental, and Spiritual. The physical and mental bodies comprise the mind/body complex and are dualistic; visible and tangible or invisible and tangible. This complex is the phenomena; how things appear to corporeal sense and can be used as a gage to determine the level of consciousness– consciousness is experience; how we think is what we become. Spirit is whole; unified state invisible and intangible. Spirit is the only self-existent power and the only Reality.
  5. Sowing to the Spirit is highly recommended in scripture because when Spirit is cause creation is Perfect.
  6. Let’s look at the first commandment; I got this from the Christian Science Monitor; :”Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” I think most of us are accepting this to mean One God as opposed to many gods but in Truth it means One Being. One Being means on Life; and unless we come out of the belief in many lives we will be in violation of the first commandment and not be under the protection of Divine Law.
  7. Divine Mind thinks in terms of the Absolute; it sees the whole. Mortal mind works on contrast and sees a concept about the Absolute.
    Lets look at this: In his book The Decalogue Ames Nowells states, “No matter how aggressive the illusion of the Adam-dream of finite living may appear to be, it cannot alter the spiritual truth that there is but one omnipresent, omniscient, omni-active, omnipotent infinite Being, even God. Beside Him there is none else. In view of this great verity, is it not clear that, following Saint Paul’s advice (Ephesians 4:24), we should “put off the old man,” the old manner of thinking mortal, limited, finite thoughts; and, accepting God as our Mind, our I, or Ego, we should “put on the new man,” the new manner of knowing divine thoughts, even and exactly as that Mind knows them? Mary Baker Eddy brings out this same teaching on page 263 of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures where she writes, “When mortal man blends his thoughts of existence with the spiritual and works [knows] only as God works [knows], he will no longer grope in the dark and cling to earth because he has not tasted heaven.” Such knowing is created in righteousness and true holiness, for it is God’s own reflection. Verily, the First Commandment will be genuinely obeyed only when we know exactly as God knows.

  1. Spirit is All; there is no matter or even mind. Only One Consciousness and It is Perfect and Pure. It is Eternal and Unchanging; always was and always will be. Why don’t we see Allness? How can something be everywhere and in everything and be concealed? It is invisible and intangible to corporeal sense.
  2. Here are some bible quotes; 2 Corinthians 4:4, “In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
  3. Here’s something from Herb Fitch in Revelations of St. John, Class 6B –
    Revelations 2:22 “Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.”
    Talking about self-love. Whoever, then, is involved with self-love will find great tribulation.
    Revelations 2:23 “And I will kill her children with death.”
    You see, Jezebel is only the symbol of self-love. “I will kill her children with death.” What are the children of self-love? Everything that we do humanly is a child of self-love.
    Revelations 2:22-23 “I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am He which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.”
    “I am He which searcheth the reins and hearts” The Christ within can’t be fooled. You’re in Christ within, or you’re in self-love. You’re in Christ, or you’re in “personal me.” Who decides your experience? You do. Your Consciousness makes its decisions. It keeps you in a sense of “personal me,” or it releases you to Christ. And that is the meaning of “I will give unto every one of you according to your works.” Your Consciousness will decide what you receive.
    In personal self, all of your children, all the children of self-love, all the children of personal selfhood are condemned to death. Can anything be more explicit? And looking around you, isn’t it true that whoever is in a personal self is condemned to death? Do you know any personal self that isn’t going to die? Do you see any personal deeds that anyone takes with them? So we are being lifted into the awareness that humanhood and Jezebel are one and the same. Humanhood is personal self. And as long as you have a personal self, it is going to die. And the deeds of personal self are condemned to death.”
  4. Think differently means to cultivate Spiritual sense, accept the Mind of Christ. Belief only gives us the promise of God but not the experience of God. Faith and understanding are needed to demonstrate the Divine Omnipresence. We are not seeking a something outside ourselves; we are acknowledging the Spiritual fact of being.
  5. Spirit is all but we are socialized to believe in matter and mind; this false belief seems to interfere with the Spiritual Truth– as a vail or overlay. This is why in a Christian Science Healing there is a denial of error applied where only the affirming the Truth is necessary. It would be like creating a human rule to chase the darkness before we turn on the light; darkness is only the absence of light not an opposing power. Error is the absence of Truth.
  6. Christ is the API (Application Programming Interface) for Spiritual Light. Without the Christ we don’t have the App to apply the Divine Creation. Christ is the dawning of Spiritual Light in human consciousness with It we have dominion over this world.

  1. Truth without Silence is incomplete; in this model Silence is the language of Spirit and so the way we translate this is– Spirit is the Principle behind Truth. Silence with a capital is not merely the absence of noise but the Omnipresence of the One Divine Life; the One power of the universe.
  2. Silence without Truth is impotent; again we are talking about Silence the voice of Spirit with the message of Truth which is Only One Divine Life. There is only One Reality which is this is a Perfect Spiritual Universe held, controlled, and governed by the Divine Law of Life.
  3. We are looking at a Perfect universe through a “glass darkly” a human mind bringing forth a human picture– a thought concept of what is really here.
  4. Transcend is a word that comes to mind; Rise or come out of corporeal sense into a larger Sense of Life. Spirit is know through Spiritual sense and silence is the vehicle. The rational mind is a very limited function but it can transmit and receive but it can only do one at a time.
  5. Joel Goldsmith wrote a book The Thunder of Silence and in Revelations 1:10 “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,” The word of God does not report in the material senses but does report in the Spiritual Senses loud and clear.
  6. Shifting from corporeal sense thinking to Spiritual sense knowing is what is meant by “repent” in the bible. Think differently!
  7. 1Cor. 14:28 “But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

  1. To be conscious of Divine Love, Divine Presence, Truth of Being is to be that place where Divine Law reveals Itself in appearance. It is not just something we talk about or believe in and hope we are right but a demonstrable Principle.
  2. “Truth is revealed. It needs only to be practiced.” SH 174:20 Mary Baker Eddy. What does it look like to practice Truth? To know that Spirit is all and all is good. She also tells us; page 142:31-2 “Let it be understood that success in error is defeat in Truth.” It is one thing to work with belief and human thinking to make the human experience appear better but to be under the government of Divine Law is beyond rational understanding.
  3. “It seemed a wonderful thing when advanced thinkers began to perceive certain mental laws and to apply them to the healing of the body. This mental teaching is that man is the builder or creator of his body, that he builds or forms his body through his own thought, that he can change his body by his thought, and therefore that, if he has built a sick body by wrong thinking or ignorant thinking, he can build a well body by right thinking, that by his ignorant inharmonious thought he prevents God from manifesting, and by his true and harmonious thought he brings God into manifestation.” The Body by Mary Baker Eddy
  4. Forsake all modes of human thinking for Divine Knowing.
  5. “To fall away from Truth in times of persecution, shows that we never understood Truth.” S&H 238:12-13 by Mary Baker Eddy. To call yourself a Christian Scientist you must be able to demonstrate Divine Law with scientific certainty; otherwise you are merely a want-to-be healer. Revelation 1:3 – “Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”
  6. Atonement or at-One-ment is what we are talking about when we say Union with the Divine. What does it look like when we are governed by the Divine Law of Life.

  1. Thought may be an energy capable of effecting changes and measured by the amount of strength it is emitted with, also belief is what gives thought “power.” Truth is backed by Principle and is self-existent Power.
  2. Old saying, lose your mind and come to your senses. Now we are saying lose your senses and come to Mind.
  3. Material law relies on belief for the appearance of existence. It is like darkness which relies on the absence of light for its existence; for just as light dispels darkness, Truth dispels error.
  4. Quantum Physics from the Death of Materialism YouTube video: Von Neumann Chain: Interactions create a chain that eventually goes back to an actual observer. “the only logical place to stop this chain is with whomever is ultimately performing the measurement. (the conscious observer). What is meant by interactions is: In trying to save the classical view of physics; Neil’s Bohr’s approach revisited (studies found) that the wave function isn’t real but a mathematical probability was challenged and found not to be just an epistemic tool but the true nature of reality is the wave function and observation causes it to collapse to physical particles.
  5. More from Death of Materialism; Consciousness is ultimately and philosophically the cause of the wave function and the physical existence of matter itself. Though consciousness is not physical it is more real than matter itself. The physical evidence of space/time is dependent on conscious observers.
  6. The wave is the realm of thought; the invisible but tangible aspect of duality, the false sense of existence– what we call matter and mind.
  7. Thoughts are measured in phase and amplitude; and thoughts that are in phase exponentially increase the amplitude.

  1. To start off one must know Truth before they can be loyal to Truth. So, what is True, which may also be said, what is real? It was a shock for me to find out that the testimony of my 5 senses wasn’t true or real. What is real and true is invisible and intangible the omnipotence, omniscience of Spirit is the only Truth in this universe.
  2. How does one “know” Truth. In order to know the Divine creation one must be able to see beyond the 5 material senses. This idea of “putting off the old man” is the only way to communicate with Divine Presence. We must assume Spiritual identity; we must know ourselves in the way we are knows by the creator.
  3. The bible says, ask in my name in John 14:14.
  4. John 14:13 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” This is the I Am of creation, cause and effect or Principle and idea. The choice lies with us; are we individualized by the world mind (the counterfeit or Truth) or are we Christ-ed and individualized by Divine Mind.
  5. John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and they might have it more abundantly.”

  1. The secret to Life is found in all scripture; put God first, last, and all.
  2. All need is based on a false conceptual identity; all fear originates from defense of this false sense of self. True Identity is backed by Spiritual Law and needs nothing.
  3. Spiritual Identity is not just senseless optimism but a demonstrable Divine Law.
  4. By accepting the Kingdom that God is conscious of instead of the world I am conscious of; we are demonstrating Faith. It was always your Infinite Invisible Self, which appeared as another reincarnated physical form and will continue to do so, until you make this recognition as your Identity.
  5. Herb Fitch Revelation of St. John “If you want the Truth, here it is. But first, renounce the belief in a second life. Renounce the belief in even the possibility of error. Oh, you say, “I can’t do it, my child is really sick.” Fine. You can reincarnate and start all over again, the Father is perfectly willing for all those who are not ready to enter the Kingdom of God to take as much time at the moment as they wish. We are all given that opportunity to wallow in our mortality as long as we wish.
  6. Let’s suppose I change my song: Father, my child appears to be sick, and my doctor says my child is sick, and my child’s temperature is high, and the poor little dear is pale and weak but, I’m sure that if You knew about this, something would be done and You’re not doing a thing. I’m therefore sure, You know nothing about this and I am therefore prepared to say, that whoever knows something about this is under the impression that they know more than God. They must be wrong. I can declare, truthfully, that every medical diagnosis ever made since the world began is a declaration of knowing more than God. And it must be wrong, for the simple reason that God is all, and God is Perfect. What is there then that is imperfect? – that consciousness which is disconnected from God, which does not know the Father aright.”
