Notes:

1. Inspired by the Sentinel Watch listened to on 3/13/25 where they mentioned the verses in Hebrews 12:2 and asked the question how do we make that Joy practical in our lives? To set the table we will look at Joy as one of the fruits of the Spirit and Life as one of the words for God in CS. In the bible there are 9 fruits of the Spirit and in Kriya Yoga there are 9 gates of the physical body. In this mental view we look at life Spiritually which means to actualize the coincidence between the human and the Divine we have responsibility. We must be conscious of the Divine and then call It into expression. In other words, recognize the Divine Principle and apply the rule. The Principle being Spirit is All and can’t be divided; so if there is one fruit they are all there. The rule being like attracts like which means thinking isn’t the same as being conscious of or Knowing. In fact, thinking makes the Principle void and obscure. Ask in my name or be still and Know is the better approach to calling Divine Law into expression.
2. How does what Mary Baker Eddy taught effect women today? Whether one is a man or a women the Divine Principle is no respecter of persons. In the Light of Divine Truth which is the allness of God there isn’t anything else. For us to experience the Joy of this Truth we must understand ourselves and everyone to be the Life of the Divine Principle. One Life, Perfect, Eternal, Whole, and Changeless.
3. Working toward the security and safety of others. I like to break it down into threes worldly happiness, intellectual happiness and Spiritual Happiness all determined by how we identify the self. As thought shifts from a mental/material basis where we are seeing and possibly believing in the many, persons, places, and things. To a Spiritual basis where we see only One, Eternal, Changeless, Life. Under Divine Law there are no needs, for Life is Perfect and we rest. Mental/material is driven by a belief in two powers and is in continuous flux or change. So, do we rush out to our neighbor to do a good deed because we think this is God’s will? Or do we recognize the Christ of our neighbor and trust God is running a Perfect world?
