Infinite Sense
Title: A Proper Sense of the Infinite
To have a map when traveling or a schematic or blueprint when building are valuable tool when looking for an outcome, a goal, or destination.
Infinite Sense is a radio talk show with the title A Proper Sense of the Infinite.
Infinite Sense:
Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about the value of Astrology as a tool in Spiritual Science. In this show they will discuss the Zodiac as a wonderful tool to assist in development; by providing a proper sense of the infinite. An instrument for working with what appears in the material senses; in order to understand what the material senses cannot know. Listen as they explain the man, the bull, the lion, and the eagle mentioned in Revelation 4: 7 “And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.” Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the Light in your soul and experience the wonders of living as the Divine Self.
Notes:
- To have a map when traveling or a schematic or blueprint when building are valuable tool when looking for an outcome, a goal, or destination. I think about going to a Bruins game at TD garden or better at Madison Square Garden all that entails. Action, knowledge, and effort and for me attaining Spiritual Identity is an even greater task. Let’s look at going to an NHL game at MSG and all the possibilities this presents we could do this spontaneously just decide one day to go to NYC and catch a Rangers game with all the probable realities it presents along with the various degrees of commitment and effort applied. In order to achieve an outcome which may start and end at the level of a wish, a mental thought about the event to the actual watching the game or event. Taking into account all the variables which include time and space which collapse into an experience. As we say the small and the simple explain the large and complex. Something as simple as going to the game opens up into knowing how to get to MSG on at a particular time and narrowed down to a seat in section and row in the building.
- Only reason walks through the open door of Revelation; Enlightenment doesn’t happen by accident there are so many variables to take into consideration and as Einstein said, God doesn’t play dice. Coordinating efforts by know what to do and when is essential in world events as well as Revelation. Some of the things to be considered are levels of consciousness and degrees of awareness which must be understood because there are differences and the term used in Yoga is avidya which is mistaking the false for the real or the impermanent for the permanent. It is like trying to follow directions and not knowing the difference between left and right.
- How I think Christian Science dovetails with Kriya Yoga and to substantiate this position I have some quotes from Mary Baker Eddy.
“Astrology is well in its place, but this place is secondary.” (Miscellaneous Writings 1883–1896, p. 334:5–6). What I think she means here is the map doesn’t equal the destination. There are no powers coming from planets but the appearances can be used to help understand the invisible intangible Omnipresence of the Divine Principle. Which is exactly what you use them for; symbols and signs to give tangibility to the logic, order, and predictability of Spirit. “The human person is finite; and therefore I prefer to retain the proper sense of Deity by using the phrase an individual God, rather than a personal God; for there is and can be but one infinite individual Spirit, whom mortals have named God.” (Rudimental Divine Science, p. 2:13). In a similar way if we don’t know left from right it diminishes the ability to locate a destination. Not knowing the Divine Principle right makes it difficult to experience the promises given in Scripture. One of my favorite is “ask in my name.” Mortals must gravitate Godward, their affections and aims grow spiritual, — they must near the broader interpretations of being, and gain some proper sense of the infinite, — in order that sin and mortality may be put off. (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 265:5) - The idea of an astral body or what I now call the “Body of Christ” found in the Lion, the Bull, the Man, and the Eagle:
Revelation Chapter 4
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.1
9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
