Upcoming Show 1-26-26! Christ or Crapshoot; Principle or Dice.
Crapshoot is a podcast with the title Christ or Crapshoot; Principle or Dice.

Crapshoot:
Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about the Albert Einstein statement, “God doesn’t play dice” as a guide to foster human development in the quest for Divine Knowing. In this podcast they will discuss the progressions which accompany the initiation on various levels from physical, to mental to Spiritual or belief, to faith, to understanding and born of woman, born of man, born of Spirit. Listen as they explore the evidence procedure outlined in the Transfiguration when Principle, takes Soul, Life and Love to Mind where Truth and Spirit unite bringing the Light of Divine Revelation. Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the Light in your soul and live with certainty.
Notes:
- Is Crapshoot a word in the English language? Is it fate or free will? Are we living under karmic law and the belief in two powers or walking in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth? How we think is what we become but there are three modes of mortal thought and the operations of Divine Mind to choose from or is it only a choice if we develop the faculty? Jesus says to know the Truth and it will make you free; so what is meant by “Know” and what are we to become free from?
- What is thinking right? Mary Baker Eddy tells us, “Paul tells us, not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God. Our sufficiency to think is of God; our ability to form thoughts and opinions is of our own ignorance, our belief in duality, but our power or sufficiency to think is when we think with God, as God.” To help connect the dots here– let’s say to think with God, as God is what Jesus means by “Knowing.”
- Mythology gives us a 3 dimensional landscape with the underworld, earth, and Olympus which I find to be most helpful in understanding modes of mortal thought and operations of Divine Mind. It reminds me of pealing an onion– layer by layer, for example, while driving a car it is essential to know certain conditions such as the road, the speed of the vehicle, the gear the vehicle is in, the fuel supply, the condition of the vehicle, then the direction traveling in relationship to the destination expected. As we progress we can begin to increase our check list and include the weather we are traveling in, the traffic involved, the inner environment of the drivers. It gets complicated. As we educate ourselves in the skills involved in driving a car we have learned something that could be applied to driving a boat, or flying a plane. This expanded view could also be applied to things like riding a bike, surfing a wave, rollerblading, skiing, playing baseball, or football, hockey, tennis, and so on. In this realm we can say there are degrees of knowing and everything can be seen as a progression beginner, intermediate, advanced. Three stages of growth for the mortal mind before reason walks through the open door of Revelation. Christ or crapshoot is a question we can ask ourselves regarding my approach to this incarnation.
- Key question here to ask is am I the finite mortal body or am I the infinite immortal invisible Self? To help us choose the best direction we have something from Herb Fitch Realization of Oneness, Class 34B, “We do not know that we are one invisible Body but we are told it by the Christ and so we follow the Christ which means we accept we are one invisible Body. But we’re not another body. We’re not a second body. We are one invisible body and when you drop the awareness of that, you’re back in a second body which is not a body, which is not sustained. That’s why the organs of our body can go wrong. They are separated from the one invisible Body. They’re not controlled by God. They’re controlled by the world mind. But when you’re in your one invisible Body in Consciousness, you find even the organs of your body are no longer controlled by the world mind. They are controlled by God. The power of your Spiritual Selfhood controls the organs of your body when you are not accepting yourself to be that very body in which those organs can be controlled by the Spirit. You must step out of the belief of it.”
- As Herb told us– “told it by the Christ” the birth of Christ in consciousness is the development of the Mind of Christ which then makes the Divine Creation comprehensive to human consciousness. We can take the initiative by employing strategies to induce the God experience; like born of Spirit, developing the three stages of mortal mind and then walk reason through the open door of Revelation.
- When am I in Christ and when am I in the crapshoot? Always looking for the fruits of the Spirit and not falling for finite good. Have I separated from the influence of mortal mind? Have I overcome this world? Do I know myself Spiritually? Spirit is a demonstrable Principle and testifies with deeds– not words. Do I Love God? Have I separated from the world or just rebel against the bad while clinging to the finite good?
