1. I am inspired by a statement from Herb Fitch Realization of Oneness class 34B, “Whoever attains the ability to rest consciously in the one invisible Self regardless of what they’re doing will find the law of Grace is the law of everything they’re doing.” Along with what Google Gemini said in the conversation we had about the podcast titled Fear and Faith as Obstructions, “Both fear and conventional faith keep the mind busy forming concepts, rather than empowering it to rise into the absolute presence of direct, experiential Knowing.”
2. So what is the direct experiential Knowing? The state of Oneness where knower, known, and knowing are One and the same, the state of Being One. It is crucial to be able to distinguish the difference between thinking with five corporeal senses and Knowing with seven Spiritual Senses and as we are learning there are infinite ways for this to go wrong but only one way it goes right. It is very easy to think you are Spiritual but Spirit testifies with deeds, not words.
3. Upon establishing a Spiritual practice begin looking for the Law of Grace influencing everything being done. Keeping in mind– everything done with human will and personal sense violates Divine Law. This is why self-control and self-mastery are essential components. Working with a Divine Metaphysical System like the Kriya Yoga we teach starts with Yama which means control and the pivotal Yama is Brahmacharya which is experienced by internalizing Spirit in the physical body as the new symbol for validation what Jesus calls “born of Spirit.” Combined with non-injury, non-lying, non-stealing, and non-greed we have a value system that will support the Omnipotence of the Divine Principle. A calibrated method to allay the fear– which is the defense mechanism for the false sense of self but without the support of the physical body there is no way to remove all the material moorings. By taking the first step it makes the remaining moves doable and it is wise to test the connection to Spirit before attempting the next step of sense withdrawal. As we suggest lowering the hurdle without lowering the bar. In the process of shifting identity from sense to Soul it is easier to work with indulgence instead of abstinence– like attracts like; Spirit begets Spirit.
4. Born of Spirit facilitates development of human intelligence which eliminates emotional reactions driven by instinct and the unconscious pattern of preservation and survival. This connection to the Life Force initiates the progressive cycle when matter and mortal mind join with Spirit-the inner marriage that impregnates the seed of consciousness. In this phase in development we learn how to resolve a physical body into a mental image capable of receiving Divine inspiration– because there is no way of putting an Infinite Mind in a finite form. So, we are to Know we are Christ not in the world while appearing as forms in the world. Usher in Christ as the saving aspect of Truth and the body of Christ as the image created by putting the fixed signs of the Zodiac on the angles which creates the mental image of One Body not in the world.
5. As Rumi, said, “the existence of the world is not in the world.” As Paul, said, “ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.” There is no way of Knowing this with the mind we use to get us through this world. We need to “repent” which means think differently. Therefore, we must learn to control how to think with the five corporeal sense and activate seven Spiritual senses and we must follow the breadcrumbs of a tried and true system if we want to develop the faculty which perceives the Truth by direct experiential Knowing and not the concept that thinks it knows truth. This is why we are looking for the coincidence between the human and the Divine in experiences. Divine Truth in consciousness resolves things into thoughts and exchanges the objects of sense with the Divine Idea.
6. The three stages of growth mortal mind must go through before we walk reason through the open door of Revelation. Stage One – allay the fear, born of Spirit. Stage Two – overcome reactions to sense stimuli by making intelligent decisions. Stage Three – overcome this world by casting out corporeal sense functioning in human consciousness. Tell the Truth about the Truth and tell the Truth about the lie.
