Separating Tares
Title: Separating the Wheat from the Tares.
Knowing the difference between mortal thought and Divine Idea.
Separating Tares is a radio talk show titled Separating the Wheat from the Tares.
Separating Tares:
Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about the process of purifying thought by eliminating the influence from the material senses. Listen as they discuss the value of knowing the difference between mental/material conjecture and Divine Truth. In this show they will explain why Mary Baker Eddy wrote in S&H 445:15, ” You render the divine law of healing obscure and void, when you weigh the human in the scale with the divine, or limit in any direction of thought the omnipresence and omnipotence of God.” Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the Light in your soul and reveal the Divine Law of Life.
Notes:
- The language of Spirit is silence and the activity of Spirit is stillness. Instead of thinking, forming thoughts and opinions based on information from the corporeal senses we make the mind an avenue of awareness for the invisible intangible Divine Creation. Let the Divine Idea fill awareness with pure consciousness. Until the birth of Christ in consciousness we watch, wait, listen, and let the Light of Divine Truth illuminate our thought. This is what we mean by pure of heart or pure of thought.
- The second half of the Mary Baker Eddy statement in the opening; S&H 445:”Christian Science silences human will, quiets fear with Truth and Love, and illustrates the unlabored motion of the divine energy in healing the sick. Self-seeking, envy, passion, pride, hatred, and revenge are cast out by the divine Mind which heals disease. The human will which maketh and worketh a lie, hiding the divine Principle of harmony, is destructive to health, and is the cause of disease rather than its cure.”
- A personal sense of self short circuits the Divine Principle by sending it to a vacant address. Science silences human will and quiets fear by dissolving the belief in a personal sense of self.
- Herb Fitch soundbite RO 1A 21m. The back end of the wheat and the tares.
- The idea of thinking with Divine Mind and how it differs from thinking with the mortal mind. We understand there can’t be both just like there can’t be light and darkness at the same time in the same place. As Jesus told us John 16:7 “It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you;” We don’t become Divine Mind we let go of the belief in a personal sense of self with a separate mind. Stop thinking and start knowing.
- Consciously converting the false to the real or converting the tares to the wheat as a stepping stone for realizing the Truth; Life is Perfect, Whole, Complete. There are no weeds in Divine Truth and consciousness is experience.
