Mental Maze
First divide and conquer then unite and stand.
Mental Maze is a radio talk show with the title Converting a Mental Maze to a Labyrinth.
Mental Maze:
Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about Pratyahara the fifth stage of Kriya Yoga and the inner dynamics of separating identity from the human mental maze with the application of the seven circuit Labyrinth. In this show they will explain the origins of the Labyrinth as a tool developed in sacred geometry and how mazes were simply neglected labyrinths that lost their paths. Listen as they discuss the phases in development by exploring what it looks like when one is born of Spirit. Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the Light in your soul and develop a proper sense of the Infinite.
Notes:
- I have heard it said, mazes are or were Labyrinths that lost their paths. The major difference is one can get lost in a maze but a labyrinth has one way in and one way out. In my opinion, Mary Baker Eddy gave the world a Labyrinth, one way in and one way out of the Christ message; to heal the sick, reform the sinner, raise the dead. Yet Christian Science today has departed from her discovery and seems to have converted the Labyrinth into a maze once again. Without the Truth in consciousness the human in a mortal mind is in a state of chaos with only hopes of getting out. When left to our own devices we chronologically age and psychologically remain lost in the mental/material illusion.
- In earlier times humanity used celestial navigation to keep life on course and at the same time in constant relation with the Infinite. Today we use Artificial Intelligence to navigate and keep humanity disconnected from the Infinite thus perpetuating the false sense of life from cradle to grave.
- The process in human development is the separation, the journey, and the return. We divide and conquer before we unite and stand. Before initiation we get the promise of scripture but after initiation we don’t get the God experience.
- To die daily means accepting the silence and stillness of Divine Principle as the only Life there is. We must prepare the mortal mind for the transformation from being individualized from the world mind and rejoining with Divine Mind. I use the example of the waterbed to explain. When they first came out waterbeds were waterbags this giant bladder and when on a waterbed with someone; if you moved they moved. Which is similar to the original state of human consciousness under the law of karma, material law. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Back to waterbed development; what happened they installed baffles which compartmentalized the waterbag which created interference and dissipated any action. In a similar way, the mortal mind must be compartmentalized and this takes place in the fifth stage Pratyahara (sense withdrawal)the disciplines suggested in Kriya Yoga develop the phycological organs.
