Notes:
- To interpret the words used in the title solely from the perspective of Spiritual identity in order to gain a better understanding of the infinite, immortal, and eternal Self. To Love God supremely we must desire God and to desire God we must desire “nothing” because God is Spirit and if, like attracts like we must know and love ourselves in the way we are created in the image and likeness of God which is Spirit and in this case nothing.
- Something from the Bible.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - Between the human perspective and Divine Truth because what natural man doesn’t have is Spiritual Life. We call them both Life but the human life and human love is finite, rational, and changeable but Divine Life and Divine Love is infinite, omnipresent, absolute and changeless.
