Notes:

1. In this model to heal means to be Whole and to be whole is to be Spiritual. There is no other way to do this. To be Spiritual is to be born again of Spirit. This rebirth is a real experience and has an evidence procedure. Just like the butterfly differs from the caterpillar; the mortal is different than the immortal; mental/material energy is different than Spiritual Substance. We state some formulas like, consciousness is experience, how we think is what we become, like attracts like, nature is determined by the sum of the habits. To keep Spiritual Science a science we use the testimony of the corporeal senses as the check engine light on the dashboard of consciousness. The physical body is a diagram of the mortal mind which is the false sense of life. However, the outer world of sense and the inner world of Spirit become One when Divine Truth is the only consciousness.

Joel Goldsmith The Infinite Way pg. 16 “The development of spiritual consciousness begins with our first realization that what we are beholding through the senses of sight, hearing, taste, and smell is not the reality of things. Disregarding appearances entirely, the first ray of spiritual illumination brings us hints of the divine, the eternal and immortal.” He says, and I am paraphrasing, if what you call Truth is reasonable be suspicious of it. Reason gets walked through the open door of Revelation. Life is purely Spiritual and Perfect; to realize this Truth is the miracle.
3. The entire mental/material concept is a mental image, a hologram, a hypnotic belief. Everything experienced is a mental creation of a mind that operates on contrast. A divided consciousness being broadcasted from a world mind driven by the belief in two powers. The process of reacting to duality in the mental world of energy is called thinking. We form thoughts and opinions based on the information coming through the material senses and we make judgements based on conditioned responses and habits. As long as we continue to draw from duality we produce duality. When duality is believed to be reality we perpetuate the cycle of death and rebirth.

Something Mary Baker Eddy says SH 445:15-18 You render the divine law of healing obscure and void, when you weigh the human in the scale with the divine, or limit in any direction of thought the omnipresence and omnipotence of God. To begin to understand this statement we must know there is no human experience and the difference between thinking with the corporeal senses and Knowing with Spiritual Sense. In Oneness there is no separation, no two or opposition. It is the mortal mind that presents the counterfeit and thinking is the operation of the false sense of existence. We can’t Know the Divine Idea with the mortal mind; it’s not like the Divine Principle doesn’t want us to do it that way– there is only One way to Know Truth and that is with the Mind of Christ.
