Notes:

1. The physical body is a mental image but the more Divinely mental the more harmonious and indestructible it will appear. Though we now know the physical body isn’t real we do know it has a purpose because consciousness is experience. The physical form is a diagram of conscious awareness; also, the outer world of sense and the inner world of Spirit become One when Divine Truth is the only consciousness. Learning how to control mortal thought by working with the relationship between life sustaining appearance number 1– thought and life sustaining appearance number 2– breath.
2. At some point in life one begins to question the events appearing in the corporeal senses and speculates there is more. Then we refuse to believe life as just an appearance observed with the senses, now, we are ready to challenge the limits of the collective consensus. Searching for the Light beyond the illusion, the mental/material veil obscuring the pure unadulterated consciousness.
3. On belief: 1. “The more material a belief, the more obstinately tenacious its error; the stronger are the manifestations of the corporeal senses, the weaker the indications of Soul.”( Mary Baker Eddy, S&H 144:11) 2. “To believe that God is a power over evil is to believe that evil has an existence, and then we either must believe God to be the cause and creator of it or we must accept another cause and creator, and the acceptance of any other cause or creator does away with Omnipotence, Omniscience, and Omnipresence.” (Joel S Goldsmith). 3. “That Life is not contingent on bodily conditions is proved, when we learn that life and man survive this body. Neither evil, disease, nor death can be spiritual, and the material belief in them disappears in the ratio of one’s spiritual growth.” (Mary Baker Eddy S&H 368:20–24)
