Personal Submission

Title: Submitting the Personal to the Divine.
Submitting to the Divine isn’t a passive activity in a similar way as white water canoeing isn’t a relaxed ride down the river.

Personal Submission:

Upcoming Show 10-12-26! Submitting the Personal for the Divine.

Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about what it will take to trade in the personal sense of self for the Truth of Being. Listen as they explore the function of self-control and self-mastery in the process of graduating from the belief in the many to the understanding of only One. Listen as they discuss the application of a Divine Metaphysical System to actualize the experience found in Knowing the Truth. Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the Light in your soul and transcend the form.

Notes:

  1. This podcast is inspired by James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” This also reminds me of Matthew 5:4, “Blessed are those who mourn: for they will be comforted.” As we progress in the shifting of identity from a mental-material basis to a Spiritual basis our perception is lifting into a broader understanding of Scripture and we now know what is meant by mourn, surrender, submit, and to die to the false sense of life.
  2. I like that Gemini mentions Ishvara Pranidhana but it may be more accurate to state that the Eight Essential stages of Kriya Yoga work in concert with the Divine sequence for the developmental process and not single out one aspect of the Divine Metaphysical System as if it is a stand alone strategy. Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi and the relativity of the system is valuable to know for serious seekers. The mind/body complex must be mastered before it can be submitted to the higher frequency of Spirit. It reminds me of white water canoeing and how it is crucial to keep the boat moving at the same speed as the water to maintain control of the craft. The human must be able to match the vibration of Spirit at the sense level of consciousness before taking flight into the upper realms.
  3. The idea of the ego isn’t the enemy it is the seed which becomes the tree, the caterpillar doesn’t die but transforms into the butterfly. For humans it isn’t “no self” but One Self. The personal sense of life evolves into the impersonal Immortal Self which isn’t a loss of conscious awareness but more inclusive sense of awareness. The merging of the microcosm with the macrocosm which comes with the shifting of identity from the mental-material basis to the Spiritual basis.
