Notes:

  1. I was inspired by the Beatles song I, me, mine and how it opened the idea of identity into three different viewpoints. Reconciled against the current collective issue found in people stealing people’s identity and the rising need for identity insurance. I thought it may be a good subject to introduce the less familiar options available to humans to accept as identity. When I break things down into three’s it is immediately categorized into a linear graph either past, present, future or a vertical ascendancy of underworld, earth, Olympus or hell, earth, heaven or physical, mental, Spiritual. To build the mental landscape which supports the Divine Principle we can look at Genesis 1 using the upper waters the firmament and the lower water to open consciousness into three dimensions or levels. Spiritual or upper waters will be assigned to I , astral or mental or firmament will be assigned to me, material or lower water will be assigned to mine.
  2. In Realization of Oneness class 30A Herb Fitch mentions “But now, we reach a point where it isn’t enough to practice the principles themselves. We have to develop the faculty to receive another level of the teaching. Now, we have to practice to develop that faculty for without it we cannot receive a higher teaching.” We know this faculty is “the Christ” and we develop awareness of it by giving it attention. In the Book of John chapter 4 Jesus sits on the well in Samaria symbolizing Christ sitting on the threshold of Spirit pointing the way to Eternal Life.
  3. No one goes to the Father except thorough Christ. “Life is hid with Christ in God” “Be still and Know I am God” these are great statements to assist humanity to “repent” or think differently. By knowing how things work and not accepting the false for the real the impermanent for the permanent.
  4. The idea of identity theft looked at through a Spiritual perspective is experienced as accepting mortality as the self of your being. You cut yourself off from the Divine inheritance by not being conscious of the Truth we are all made in the image and likeness of an indestructible Principle– Changeless and Perfect. There is no need to steal in Spiritual identity and by the same token there is no need to take in Divine Truth we rest.
  5. Fear is the defense mechanism for the false sense of self under the belief in two powers and the law of karma. The thief cheats himself by believing in something other than the One Life.
