1. The inspiration for this show stemmed from a Christian Science talk to CS Nursing, coupled with a profound insight from Herb Fitch‘s soundbite in RO 29A: “If you don’t have God on earth, you don’t have a God, you have chaos.” To me, God embodies Principle, and without it, chaos reigns. When life lacks Principle, it devolves into disorder. If chaos pervades your mental or material experience, consider addressing it by consciously embracing the Divine Principle. Instead of perpetuating the same cycle with more laws, drugs, or beliefs, we must confront fear and the potential for loss. To halt the madness, take responsibility and embark on a journey of action (implementing necessary changes), a journey of knowledge (creating a mental framework aligned with the Divine Principle), and a journey of devotion (committing to success through the application of the proven Divine Principle).
2. Beholding the Light of Divine Truth is only possible with the Christ– not the word or Jesus but the eternal Principle, the Messiah. In this model the Christ is introduced at Muladhara Chakra, or Ephesus in Revelation, or the Christian Science word Principle or Saturn in Astrology it doesn’t matter how you choose to represent it symbolically what matters is being conscious of it. What comes first, being conscious of Christ or Divine Revelation? This can be a question or a trap; when it is a question we look for an answer but it is a trap when we sit around and think it will happen to us. So, unless you are healing the sick, reforming sinners, raising the dead which is proof you are conscious of the Divine Principle; you may what to begin looking for answers. However, unless we build a mental landscape to support the Divine Principle by educating mortal thought up to Spiritual apprehension there will be no Spiritual fruit.
3. Let’s start with the seven pointed star used in the pictures found in Mary Baker Eddy’s book Christ and Christmas. For me this is a great symbol for the transfiguration. Remember, Jesus takes James, Peter, and John to the Mountaintop where Moses and Elijah appear. We talked about discovering Eternal Light and then the joining of Truth with Spirit brings Light– are symbols to explain the lifting of consciousness from lead to gold, root to crown, all of us to God. We are explaining there is a process in development which must be initiated and fulfilled before the seven pointed star illuminates thought.
4. Recognizing Divine Truth in consciousness by the fruitage– because consciousness is experience; this is the coincidence between the human and the Divine. Spirit is a demonstrable Principle and testifies with deeds not words making healing the litmus test for beliefs. We no longer have to wait for transition to see if we are worshiping correctly. This is one of the benefits of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy figured out the message of the Christ and was proving the teaching of Jesus.
5. Learning to build life on Grace and not merely on particles and waves. Keeping consciousness in constant relation with the Divine Self becomes a valuable asset to employ. To store your treasures in heaven and not on earth means to sow to the Spirit and not the flesh. To live and move and have your being in the Divine Principle by staying in conscious awareness of the immortal self is how we reside in the secret place of the most high. To come out from the government of karmic law and serve under the protection of Divine Law we must realize Oneness, the Divine Principle is the self of all Being everywhere always.
6. As we become more conscious of the immortal Self, first as the astral image by educating the mortal mind with the mental landscape which supports the Divine Principle of One Being. The connection is found in the thought unity between the real man and the Divine Idea– this sheds the light of the five pointed star. We are at the Mountaintop waiting for Moses and Elijah to appear; conscious awareness of Truth and Spirit is the six pointed star. The Joining of Truth with Spirit is the seven pointed star which brings the Light of Eternal Life. When reason walks through the open door of revelation and Life is experienced Spiritually as One Being. Perfect, Whole, Complete, and Changeless. The outer world of sense and the inner world of Spirit become One when Divine Truth is the only consciousness; when the belief in the many is given up for the understanding of the One.
