Saving Investments

We do this by letting go of the false belief which is coming from the material senses and we “lay up treasures in heaven” by investing in the invisible intangible Divine creation which does not report in the corporeal sense mind.

Saving Investments is a radio talk show with the title Jesus Saves but Moses Invests.

Saving Investments:

Hostess Lisa Winton and Swami Jayananda will talk about some of the confusion experienced when Spirit is perceived through a material lens. In this show they will discuss the term salvation and what it means to be saved by being invested in Divine Truth. Listen as they explore the difference between a material based value system against a Spirit based economy. Can all scripture be advising humanity to do the same thing?  Welcome to the Voice of Yoga; we are talking consciousness! Join the Kriya Yoga Spiritual Advance to get the Light in your soul and become invested in Truth.

Notes:

  1. I grew up in a neighborhood that had a large number of Jewish families and seeing the different belief systems at work. One of the biggest differences we would say is Jesus saves but Moses invests. The Christians saved their money in a bank where it is safe; maybe for a rainy day but the Jewish families would say for the first half of your life you work for your money and the second half you let your money work for you. I saw that as an upgrade from saving but of course; this is not what scripture is talking about.
  2. I looked up the word: What is the true meaning of salvation? Definition of salvation 1a : deliverance from the power and effects of sin. b : the agent or means that effects salvation. c Christian Science : the realization of the supremacy of infinite Mind over all bringing with it the destruction of the illusion of sin, sickness, and death.
  3. The illusion of sin isn’t simply bad conduct but the testimony of the corporeal senses and the belief they are real is the sin. “Beholding the creations of his own dream and calling them real and God-given, Adam — alias error — gives them names.” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 528:22–24)
The allegory of Adam, when spiritually understood, explains this dream of material life, even the dream of the “deep sleep” that fell upon Adam when the spiritual senses were hushed by material sense that before had claimed audience with a serpent. (Christian Healing, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 17:14–18)
  4. Matthew 7:3-5 “3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” What Jesus is telling us here has little to do with being a hypocrite; he is saying stop believing in the testimony of your corporeal senses and before you try to remove the sense of illusion from someone else; get rid of your own sense of illusion. Stop thinking with the mind that doesn’t know the Divine Truth.
  5. We are looking to be saved from the belief that there is a second self, there is something other than the One Perfect Divine Life. We do this by letting go of the false belief which is coming from the material senses and we “lay up treasures in heaven” by investing in the invisible intangible Divine creation which does not report in the corporeal sense mind. What can be called saving investments.
